Digital Impressions & Scan Acceptance
We accept intraoral scan files from all major scanners: iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Medit, Carestream, Planmeca, and others in .STL and .PLY formats. No physical impressions required for any restoration in our catalog. If you still use physical impressions for specific cases, we can digitize via desktop scan.
CAD Design
All restorations are designed in 3Shape Dental Designer. Design proposals are generated within two hours of scan receipt. For complex cases — full-arch, multi-unit implant bridges, high-translucency veneer cases — we send a design preview before milling so you can approve occlusal anatomy and contacts before we cut material.
In-House Milling
We mill on a 5-axis wet milling system. All ceramic milling is done wet — no dry milling compromise on fit accuracy. Our milling tolerances are consistent with ISO 6872 class II ceramics at 20 microns or better. For zirconia, we mill pre-sintered and fire in our in-house Programat furnace.
Materials
We work with clinical-grade materials from established manufacturers only. Zirconia blanks are sourced from Ivoclar, Kuraray Noritake, and GC. E.max press ingots are Ivoclar only. Acrylic and flexible partial materials are from established dental material suppliers. We do not use no-name materials to cut costs.
Sintering & Characterization
Zirconia is sintered in a calibrated Programat furnace with documented thermal profiles per blank type. After sintering, crowns are hand-characterized with GC Initial stains for shade accuracy, then glazed and final-polished. We include a shade tab photo with every restoration delivery.
Delivery
Standard restorations are targeted for delivery within 48 hours of scan receipt. Rush cases are accepted on request — contact us to confirm mill availability before placing a rush case. Delivery is by courier for local practices.
Quality Assurance
Every restoration is inspected against the design file before delivery: marginal fit checked with fit checker, occlusal contacts verified, shade cross-referenced to original scan and prescription. Remakes for manufacturing defects are at no charge.
